So, today’s blog post is a skincare product review. As a person who suffers from breakouts, I am always searching for products that actually work. I received my samples complimentary of Influenster and was so excited to try this product. The products that I am about to review are available exclusively at Sephora.
Peace Out Acne Healing Dots
I loved how different this product was. Usually, I would use creams and cleaners, but this product was in the form of a dot that would cover the acne spot. It’s important to remember that the product only helps deflate pimples that have already reached the surface and those that are a bit open. I liked the fact that this product contained hydrocolloid technology, so you know it is focusing directly on the breakout. Plus, the Vitamin A and Aloe Vera helps the acne spot to heal faster. I definitely noticed a difference in my breakouts when I woke up the following day after just the first use. To use this product, you must wash your face, apply the sticker, and wear it for six hours. I would definitely use this product again!
Peace Out Microneedling Dark Spots Brightening Dots
I like the fact that this product was oil free because a lot of the other products I use for hyoerpigmentation leave my face oily which will just cause me to breakout more because I have naturally oily skin. The dark spot dots use microneedling technology to remove/fade the dark spot. To use this product, you would cleanse your face, peel the 2 white protective liners off tot expose the dot, and press the dot, textured side down onto your dark spot for 5-10 seconds. Wear it for 6 hours and then use SPF.
This product was not as fast acting as I had hoped for. I think it works best on dark spots that are like a week old. Hyperpigmentation that lasts longer than that might require you to use the product for a longer period of time to see results. So, I would definitely use the product if I had newer dark spots.
