Pleated Skirts Are Back For Fall

There are so many trends for fall and one thing I have been seeing a lot of is pleated skirts. They have completely taken over Instagram! 

This is yet another trend that has made a comeback in the year of 2020!

Some may refer to them as school girl skirts or even tennis skirts because of the length and style. You can wear it with an oversized sweater, a collared skirt, a vest and so on. 

If you’re not a fan of the school girl length skirt, many are styling outfits with long pleated skirts as well.

So, do what’s comfortable to you. If you’re choosing to go with a long pleated skirt, the oversized sweater still works. You can also wear it with a t-shirt and a jean jacket, or even a nice blouse.

I styled this look with a dress I got from PrettyLittleThing. I decided that it would look great as a top. Next, I added my white pleated skirt from ROMWE.

Another decision I made was that I really wanted to play around with color. So instead of following this pleated skirt completely by adding white tennis shoes or converse, I added the color silver in my outfit.

I accessorized the look with a pair of silver boots and a sliver sweater that I tied around my shoulders.
